Follow these steps to download and install Mozilla Thunderbird, a popular email client, directly from the Microsoft Store:

    1. Hostname: smtp-mail.outlook.com
    2. Port: 587
    3. Connection Security: STARTTLS
    4. Authentication: OAuth2
    5. Username: Enter YOUR WVI email address (e.g., johndoe@wvi.org).

    1. Click the Re-test button to verify the settings. Thunderbird will confirm the configuration.
    2. Once the test is successful, click the Done button.
    3. If prompted, provide your WVI username (email address) and password again for authentication.
  8. Skip System Integration:
    1. When prompted for System Integration, click Skip Integration. This will ensure the setup proceeds without making Thunderbird your default email application (you can change this later if needed).
  9. Automatic Sync:
    1. Thunderbird will now start syncing your email. Observe your Inbox to ensure that all emails from your Outlook account are appearing in Thunderbird.

After syncing your inbox, follow these steps to install the ImportExportTools NG add-on and archive your emails as EML files:

Installing the ImportExportTools NG Add-on:
